Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب الحج باب ما جاء فى ثواب الحج والعمرة
The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "Keep doing pilgrimage (1) and umrah (2) alternately, for indeed, they eliminate poverty and sins, just as a bellows eliminates the dross from iron, gold and silver. The only reward for a well-performed pilgrimage is Paradise." Footnotes: (1) (Hajj) The pilgrimage to Makkah during the first half of the month of Thul-Hijjah, which is the fifth pillar of Islam.
